For this particular project I was extremely excited, as I value my love of music almost as much as anything else. I chose my favorite country artist Sturgill Simpsons highly acclaimed album “Metamodern Sounds In Country Music.”

I wanted to touch on Sturgill Simpsons overbearing country style with the psychedelic undertone of modern distorted guitar riffs and other electronic sounds such as synth drums. These intricacies within Simpsons music gives the album a mix of country, psychedelic rock, and electronic music.

The design itself is derived from those musical tones within the album. I added the rustic sketch work of a south western landscape, as well as a modern no serifed font that ties the genre together.
