Process Iterations

This project was a design for a music festival of my choosing. “Under The Big Sky Festival” is a country/western festival that lasts 3 days. It was quite the struggle trying to convey the western feel while only using black and white. The goal was to make this poster look almost like an 1800’s magazine heading, or something like a wanted poster. I achieved this by using multiple different bold serifed fonts that didn’t look to modern.

These iterations were based off of 1800/1900’s advertisements as well as official wanted poster which are Iconic within the Wild West.
